How SitePilot collects and uses website data

We collect information in a few different ways:

• Information you submit: when you use our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, company name, selected service interest, and any message you choose to send us.
• Technical information: we may collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, page, and interaction data associated with visits to our site.
• Analytics information: we use PostHog to understand pageviews, navigation patterns, and engagement with content so we can improve the website and our marketing efforts.

• Respond to inquiries and follow up on service requests.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
• Measure traffic, content performance, and site usability.
• Protect the website against spam, abuse, and security issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our site terms.

SitePilot uses PostHog for website analytics. Depending on browser and configuration behavior, PostHog may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser-based storage to recognize a browser over time and measure how visitors use the site.

Our current implementation is used for website analytics and improvement insights only. We do not use this page to promise any analytics features beyond what is actually configured in the site.

PostHog may collect information such as page visits, referral data, device and browser details, general interaction events, and related technical metadata generated during use of the website.

When you submit our contact form, the information you enter is sent to our forms backend so we can review and respond to your inquiry.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile or similar anti-spam measures when configured. This helps verify that submissions are made by real people and may involve Cloudflare processing technical information needed to perform that verification.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• With service providers that help us host the site, process form submissions, detect spam, or provide analytics.
• If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the security of the website.
• In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, sale, or reorganization.

You can limit analytics-related storage through your browser settings, cookie controls, privacy tools, or by clearing stored site data from your device.

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, improving the site, and meeting legal or operational requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information we control, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Our site may link to third-party websites or services, including the SitePilot client portal. Those properties operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them separately.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
